NBC news piece on childhood asthma

NBC news this evening had a piece on a study being done at National

Jewish (of course). They've given many of their child patients video

cameras to video tape their environments, etc. At the end of the piece

they played a segment of a video when a girl turned the camera on

herself as she was in the car w/ her parent on the way to the ER having

an attack. My mind and my stomach started surging immediately, and

even the reporter said, " This is really tough to take. "

Anyone with a family member with asthma ought to see this video. It's

better than an explanation of what asthma is - it's a real

demonstration.
