I do have " ink " .  I have had it since 2000 and it is in color. Inks

used were blue, yellow, black, and green. I didn't have a reaction that  I can

remember.   You might want to talk to your " Xolair doc " and ask his/her

opinion.  Who knows, maybe they might tell you to take an epi pen with you " just

in case " .

I've been thinking of getting a tattoo, and then of course I started

wondering if I could get an allergic reaction from the ink and go into

shock and so on. So far, my research indicates that reactions to black

ink are incredibly rare, and that if one is going to have a reaction it

will be to red, yellow or green ink. I'm certainly not going to get

any colors.

So I thought I'd ask if any of my really allergic friends on this

board have a tattoo, and if you had any allergic response to getting

it.

I have three. I have one on my ankle, a ts on my lower back and one

on my shoulder. I love them all, and never had a reaction to them.
