Guest guest
Bill is the first of our " former Members " to respond to my request for an update. Here's what he wrote in an email he sent me: Dear Addy, I have had great success with Xolair to the point of saying Xolair changed my life. That is because my IGE numbers were out of site at 1227. Being a highly reactive allergic asthmatic it worked wonders until my once injured esophagus started acting up again causing massive aspirations during evening hours of digested food and if my stomach was empty it would bring up stomach acid and aspirate that into my lungs. The last year and a half has been tough with many infections(pneumonia) again something that I thought I had left behind. I now have to get two operations on my esophagus to fix the scar tissue and hernias that exist. Hopefully that will bring me back to normal. Once again if you are an allergic asthmatic and are thinking about Xolair I strongly suggest that you start the therapy asap. Remember it does take some time to take hold in your system so don't get discouraged. Good Breathing Bill p.s. PSI is a company that helps with the monetary end of things and we all know how expensive Xolair is. They helped me out when I had no insurance or was under insured. Their number is 1- 800-366-7741 call and they will instruct you how to apply for assistance. Good luck. pp.ss. Addy you can post this if you would like, I think it would be beneficial.
