Guest guest
I used to have to get my shots administered at my doctor's office. It was always horribly painful UNLESS one nurse in particular gave me the shot. Eventually, she taught me how to give it to myself painlessly. And then when the black box warning came out and i had to have them administered in a new doctor's office, I showed my doctor how to do it so that it doesn't hurt. Here's what I learned: If I go to my upper thigh, about only two to three inches below my underwear line, and closer to my outer thigh than the top (that faces the ceiling if I'm sitting) -- it almost never hurts!
