Guest guest
MRIs are wonderful advanced tools in diagnosing disease but they fall short in many diseases, MS being one of them. They tend to take a snapshot of the brain at one point in time and do not have the sophistication yet to show many forms of brain injury and disease. I really suspect (hope springs eternal) that some day some sort of tool/equipment will be developed that shows things happening in the brains of patients who have severe allergies that affect thought processes, and lots of body functions described fairly often on this board. Many of us are not taken seriously because except for a few tests that are challenged by other docs & insurance it's really hard to define allergies and what they do. Probably it's a cluster of diseases. > > > > > > Hi Leigh, > > > > > > If you are concerned about how you are reacting to the medication, why don't you stop taking it? It is not like prednisone, you can just stop taking it. We are all allowed to chose what we put into our bodies, food, medication and otherwise. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I agree with . There are some on this board who are having nothing but problems with Xolair and need to speak with their doctors about quitting the medication and going back on Prednisone. > > > > Doug > > Group founder > > > > > > > > __________________________________________________________________ > Be smarter than spam.
