Guest guest
I know Xolair works witht he allergy response system. I wonder if you have noticed a change with the cold air as well. I've had 2 rounds of injections and moved my breathing from 350 to 550 in one month. The cold air (I live in south central Alaska) does continue to bother me. It triggers spasms. I am hoping that as the lungs mend a bit, maybe I will tolerate the cold better. Also related to Alaska: I have a volcano about 45 air miles away that is trying to erupt. We expect a lot of ash, but not much else. My doctor has provided steroids and a mask to use. It should be interesting to see how the local asthmatics respond. We live far out in a rural area in the woods and last night about 11pm we found a kitten outside on our woodpile in the snow, it was below zero and the kitten had chunks of ice in its fur and was freezing. We took it in for the night and will bring to rescue today. My asthma has been bad in this cold weather but I'm shocked that I'm doing ok with the kitty! > > Thanks Addy! > It makes me excited to think I might actually be able to be in a house > with a cat and not have problems breathing.
