Guest guest
Hi Anne, If I were you, I think I would make an appointment with my eye dr. There is some really scary ingredients in mascara!!! He would be able to use his equipment to be able to see something that you can't. Even if there is nothing in there, at least then you would have peace of mind. And then switch to an all natural mascara, if such a thing exists. I don't use it, so have never shopped for any, so I don't know if natural mascara even exists. I found this site about toxic ingredients in mascara: http://www.ems.org/earthtalk/000377.html Carol -----Original Message----- From: Anne [mailto:pokergirl212000@...] Yesterday I accidently got mascara in my eye. I have hand tremors and when I was putting on my mascara my hand jerked and the mascara brush went into the white part of my eye. I flushed the eye with water and I don't see anymore mascara in it. Should I call and make an appointment with my Opthamologist? My eye seems fine now and I don't have any blurred vision.

Guest guest
My son got a piece of sawdust in his eye a few years ago. Had to have it removed by an eye dr. If your eyeball is scratched by the mascara brush you could get infection but i'm sure you'd feel it if it were scratched tho im not sure about small scratches. You might try the eyewash that Suzi suggested and keep a CLOSE 'eye' on it. diane in nw mt ----- Original Message ----- From: MorningGlory113@... health Sent: Monday, August 09, 2004 7:07 AM Subject: Re: mascara in eye Should I call and make an appointment with my Opthamologist?I've gotten mascara in my eye before. It burns and I also just flush it out with water. If you haven't had any problems since I'd say it's probably fine. When there is a problem the eye usually keeps feeling irritated. Just keep tabs on it for a few days..blurry vision, etc.Gloria
Guest guest
Even MASSIVELY diluting some apple cider vinegar, unfiltered of course would be a good thing in distilled water and flushed in your eye/s. I actually heard that there is a prescription eye 'stuff' doctors prescribe for eye problems. You wouldn't know it unless you were a chemist because the ingredient listed for acv is some unpronounceable word! This is also used in ear prescription drugs (this is second hand knowledge). AKA zero proof at this point. Buy ya know if you don't feel any after effects just 'maybe' trust that all is o.k. and trust that your body/eye will tell you otherwise.
