We went and had the extra test for kenley but have not heard anything yet. You know what they say no news is good news. We are waiting on medicaid to give the approval for the next test on her heart and neourology. thank you for all your responses and prayers. Alabama USA

I have hypothyroidism. The blood work that my endocrinologist orders checks my

TSH, T3, T4 & Free T4 levels. He is aware that I am on Xolair and has never told

me to time my blood work around my shots in any way. I have never asked if it

would be a reason for concern as I had thyroid problems before I began Xolair

and my allergist was not at all concerned about it.

My last thyroid ultrasound was before I started Xolair, so I don't know if there

is an issue with that. My opinion is there would not be, but, that is just my

opinion.

I suggest you call whoever is doing the ultrasound and blood work, the doctor

who ordered it and the doctor who is responsible for your Xolair injections and

ask all of them if they think there is a problem. (That tends to be a pain, but

I always feel better if I check & double-check and sometimes triple-check.)

Thanks Kathy. my daughter is hypothyroid as well. I did call back her endo.

and the place doing the ultrasound and both said it wouldn.t effect either .

Her xolair shot is early Monday so I will have to ask before they give her the

shot....triple checking is always a good idea when it comes to medical

issues...my problem is I dont think of the questions until after the appt. I

have my list of questions but this is something new(the ultrasound) and I think

as soon as she said a nodule on one side was larger than the other everything

went out of my head.

thanks for the quick reply though. jean

Gee, thanks for the SPAM.

It is considered very bad netiquette to send 'test' messages to real

email lists.

, the reason I did this was because I joined the group about 5 days ago

and am not receiving any emails from this group even though it is set as

individual. I did not know how else to test this.
