Guest guest
Very recently I have started itching again especially to the touch and anything which is sitting in a drawer, etc. And my chest is very very tight and when the doctors listen to me I am wheezing all over which is unusual for me. I have been on xolair for almost 3 years and just had my most recent injection on Thursday morning. Thanks, Leigh ________________________________ From: mister_manganese <barryb@...> Sent: Wednesday, July 8, 2009 10:58:43 PM Subject: [ ] Re: Sun allergy One more update ... I went to a dermatologist about the rash on my face and arms. The doc does think sun sensitivity is the culprit and now is looking for the cause. The doc thinks it could be lupus and sent me to the lab for a whole bunch of blood tests. He said the sun sensitivity could also be a reaction to one of the medicines I take and is reviewing my list. I don't see anything in the Xolair literature that points to it causing sun sensitivity. He also put me on a low dose of Prednisone. Now at least the itching has stopped but my arms are still a mass of little bumps. I also got some +75 sunscreen and put it on my arms and legs when I went out in the sun. The stuff smells horrible. I've tried to wash off the stench but the smells keeps hanging around. I guess it seeped into my pores. The bottle does list " fragrance " as an inactive igredient in the fine print. Stupid of me not to do some research for a non-scented product before running out to the store. Anyway, it looks like my theory about poison sumac possibly causing my rash was off base. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > For the past couple of months my face has been breaking out in a rash and I > > > > didn't know why.
