Increasing Xolair dosage

I got on Xolair in March of 05 while on oral prednisone. For a couple of years

it worked fine. I was symptom free and could do everything. Last year, 2008, I

began to get worse and ended in ER in July and got sol-medrol infusion. I was

well for some months thereafter and again this year starting in June I got worse

and now am back on pred. I am on 150 mg Xolair every 4 weeks and my pulmo said

that I cannot increase my Xolair dosage because my IGE at the start was only 84

and I weigh 160 lbs. Have any of you succeeded in getting Xolair dosage

increased? and on what basis? Thanks.
