Gwendolyn, thank you. I think we well have a good time.Several people I talked

with said they really enjoyed the area. I married my first husband in Phenox

City and was in the airport several times, that is about it for my knowledge of

the state. I got all kinds of info online so I think we will have plenty of

things to do. Jan

I hope you enjoy your trip to Savannah. We tailgate there at Savannah State

Univeristy. My twins graduated from there. It is a beautiful city. Atlanta is

about 4 hours away and I don't get there often enough. Hilton Head is near there

and it is lovely too.

Oh my goodness Doug, how terrifying is that. Glad things worked out for you.

Hope the new machine works well for you. Let us know.

As for me well this computer had something wrong with it for 2 days and would

not let me connect to Internet Exp. well I finally saw an icon and clicked on it

and disabled add-ons (whatever they are) and it worked!!!!!! Yipee.

I still have not heard from my resp doc as to the xolair yet. I need to schedule

the shots around me trip down to Savannah next month.

I am kinda anxious to get started since you all are doing so well with it and I

want to feel good again. I went to a place today that had dogs in it, but they

weren't there, and after a while the allergies kicked in good. I came home to my

two dogs and was find........ .go figure! Guess I built up a tolerance to them,

they are bichons and have hair, not fur so maybe that makes a difference. Oh who

knows.

Hope all of you have a nice Sunday. Jan

A month ago I had a cervical epidural steroid injection. They put me under for

about 20 minutes to have those and I stopped breathing. My pulse ox went wayyyy

down. The doc shook me several times to get me to breathe again and put me on

oxygen. My PCP recommended that I have another sleep study.

I had it last night and the cpap didn't work. They started me on a bi-pap

machine. It was very strange because it forced air INTO My lungs and then I

breathed out normally. It worked!

Hmmmm, I wonder if I could have one 24/7 lOL!

The doctor who did the sleep study is a Pulmo. I told him I had been on xolair

for 6 years and was the first one in the state to get it. He was impressed.

I get my new machine in a few days. Gotta get used to one all over again :(

Do you plan to eat at Lady and Son's or Bubba's? This is a Deen's place and

Bubba is her brother. He specializes in seafood. They are both overrated, cost a

lot and the food is not good. Check online before going there. We spent almost

$300 and the food was terrible. The wait is very long and once you get in there

the food is terrible.

Oh really? Wow, I was planning on making reservations for Lady and Sons. I do

not like seafood so Bubba's is out. I did check the menu and the prices weren't

too bad for the buffet, lunch is $14 and dinner is $18. plus the cost of a drink

$1.99. I know resturants in tourist areas are so much higher. Do you have any

suggestions on where to eat? If anyone has ideas of what to do or where to go or

where to eat please let me know. Thanks, Jan

Janice, I will check with my daughters, they know a lot about Savannah. I will

let you know. The prices at Lady and Son's is not the problem. It is the long

wait from other tourist. Please do a google search before deciding to go there.

You will see the many unsatisfied customers.

Jan

Subject: [ ] I stop breathing at night even with my cpap machine

Hi Janice,

We have enjoyed the Priate House. They have a Sunday buffett that is really

enjoyable. An absoulute is the River Street Sweets!!! If you are not a sugar

addict it is relatively safe. The pralines are phenonminal.

Of course, coming from where I do is small town Alaska, I enjoy the Cracker

Barrell, Sonic Drive In and Chick-Fil-A. So you are warned.

Thanks, Jan

City and was in the airport several times, that is about it for my knowledge of

the state. I got all kinds of info online so I think we will have plenty of

I hope you enjoy your trip to Savannah. We tailgate there at Savannah State

Univeristy. My twins graduated from there. It is a beautiful city. Atlanta is

about 4 hours away and I don't get there often enough. Hilton Head is near there

and it is lovely too.

To get an Rx for a cpap or bipap you must first be diagnosed with sleep apnea

and then go through a sleep study.
