Guest guest
Does anyone know if Xolair will help with nasal polyps. I had sinus surgury about 10 years ago and the polyps have grown back, making it difficult to breath. Thanks for any input. Carlyn From: special person <retro112@...> Subject: [ ] running/aerobic activity Date: Sunday, February 15, 2009, 10:18 PM I really can not believe the relief I feel (literally) now! I have not been able to run or even walk fast in the past 16 mos but now I feel great! My conditioning is extremely low but that is to be expected. I feel like a could walk/bike for days and hopefully, run again soon. Has anyone else experienced a 180* with Xolair? I would be interested to hear your story. Guest guest
chris it sounds as if you are one of the lucky ones. my own personal experience with xolair has been complicated because i also have copd and bronchiactesis. since my ige levels have gone down so much lately, i was told to hold off on my injection. well, i did. and yesterday was the 4th day of missing my dose and i almost died in the e r. i wonder if anyone else has felt awful when they had to miss a few days due to shipment disruption or holidays, etc? i refused the injection of 120 units of solumedrol and had them release me from the e r. i came home and took my injection as quickly as i could get it to mix and although i am understandably very weak today, i can at least breathe much much better. if you can run soon, that is awesome. exercise strengthens the lungs and the breathing muscles. i would say to keep your inhaler with you out of an abundance of caution. i am so happy you have made a 180. i needed to read a success story today. Guest guest
My doctor says there is no reason to test my IgE b/c we are all constantly making new IgE and he said I am an especially good IgE producer and will probably need Xolair for the rest of my life. I have had two disruptions due to insurance malfunctions and both times have seen an increase in symptoms when I didn't get my Xolair. I can miss one dose ok, but not two or more....
