Well I had my first shot today it was not bad.All I can do is hope it works.

I didn't notice an immediate change, but over the months I began to realize the

xolair was helping and then when I had made it through a year without a sinus

infection and asthma severe enough for prednisone, I knew the xolair had

helped.  Before xolair, I had two, sometimes three events a year when I had to

be on an antibiotic and prednisone. 

 

I think the general advice is that xolair works at a different pace for each

person.  Good luck with your shots.

Xolair shots are just a part of my life now. Every other Friday at 12:30 I go

to the Allergists office and get them (along with a regular allergy shot), then

go to the city park to do my power walking, then to lunch.

I never have had any pain from them but last Friday the regular allergy shot

hurt worse than usual. The soreness went away after 4 days.

My asthma? MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, (did I say much?) better! NO MORE PREDNISONE!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
