Guest guest
I had my first Xolair shots in about six weeks on Wednesday. I'm supposed to get three shots every two weeks, but the BCBS screw up fouled that up. My asthma hasn't responded yet, but I have had severe sinus issues. I am still waiting for my letter saying that the whole six months has been approved - so far I only have documentation that I'm approved for a month. The one month approval was after I sent multiple faxes detailing my horrific symptoms and the fact I was back on pred and unable to taper off. That bought them time to get their act together. It's hard to complain when (outside of the premium, which is pretty high) I pay only $600 in copays for $36,000 worth of Xolair. FYI on my last IgE test I scored a 786. I guess you could say that I've always been an over-achiever. Addy Group co-owner PS - I took out my steroid rage on a couple of cold calls from phony charities so I wouldn't take it out on my husband!
