First I am so sorry you had such a severe reaction, how scary for you.

I am thinking now that my dd's symptoms was a combination of things, and not

a reaction to the shots. She had bronchitis a month ago and seemed better but

obviously it was still in her system and there was a kid at the office that was

coughing so if her immune was already comprimised she could of picked up more

germs. And yes she has allergies, all year, indoor and out but it usually

effects her skin more than her asthma. I'm just hoping she is better before the

next shot which is next Monday.

Thank you for the kind words. It is hard to make decisions in health for

another person. Finding someone else to make these decisions for my daughter is

not an option even with her doctor. Over a year ago when I had ask about this

he said he didnt think it was for her but I have been pushing for this or

soemthing to help her and all of the sudden he thinks this is the way to go.

I'm really not sure if he change his mind because he thought about it or because

I was a pain in the butt. i think the allergist may have changed his mind

though because my daughter's derm. called him a couple of times to work on

something to help her allergic Eczema and becasue she also has allergic asthma

the derm. though xolair might help.

i just wished the dr. would be a little more involved though. I havent talked

to him since we decided on the xolair. He never did call me back(his nurse did

even though I requested he did). My dd does have an appt. coming up next month

and I will ask him questions I should have ask before we started.

Thanks again for taking the time to write to me , it really has helped me feel

better. Im still a little nervous about the next shots but not as much as

before.

I am sorry about your mother, that must be so hard on both of you. She is

very lucky to have you for a daughter. Take care. I'll post after my dd's next

then ended up in ER that NIGHT for an admission. I have been taken by my xolair

nurse from the clinic to ER with a flare. Your daughter could have been growing

a bug she wasnt telling you about if she didn't want to mess up getting her

first injection or she picked something up on site for the injection or she was

stressed about the whole thing. Its spring, does she normally flare in the

spring? The possibilities are endless. What MDs are really concerned about is

anaphylactic reactions, which is not what she had.

was due to the xolair. That is up to her responsible MDs to figure out.
