Guest guest
Hi , You may have a problem with humidity, but I would think it could resolved easily. You should have received a Dry & Store with your kit, and the best thing to do is get the processor in it right away. Run the Processor and everything through a full cycle. The Dry & Store is always the first step when you suspect a humidity related problem. I have seen posts from users who have had processors end up in a pool and once if I recall correctly someone had to retrieve a processor from the toilt bowl, and if you get it dried out well enough you stand a good chance of saving the device. Guest guest
But don't the sound come through your processor, one thing you might also try is changing your cables, I once thought my processor wasn't working and all it needed was a new cable, just a suggestion. > > Thanks Mike.. Guest guest
This reminds me that after you try the new cable, you might try the microphone cover. I've had my implants the same length of time as you have, , and JUST two weeks ago I changed my cover for the first time. Some folks say it should be quarterly, and while I didn't find any difference in the sound afterwards I'm glad I changed it to be on the safe side. Judy in Jax > > > > Thanks Mike.. Guest guest
Somehow my question got entagled with someone else's- I have severe allergic asthma and have not responded at all to the Xolair after 13 months. I am on the correct dose for my IGE and weight. Can anyone out there respond to me without giving details about their own asthma that are not relevant to my question, and that is actually helpful?
