Guest guest
I agree....I didn't know I had so many aches and pains until I stopped using Prednisone. Many of them became a " sometimes " ache or pain, depending on what I did physically or what the weather was like. Tylenol does nothing for me, but Ibuprofen works great. I can go weeks without taking it, and then maybe take it for a headache, or for my legs when they ache at night (which is very sporadic). I have had no new aches or pains since being on xolair....just the regular pains that go with age....... Have a good week all.,,,, Adah From: mister_manganese <barryb@...> Subject: [ ] Re: BODY ACHES Date: Monday, October 12, 2009, 10:04 PM Sorry to hear about the aches and pains. From what I've heard Prednisone is a serious anti-inflammatory steroid drug so if you had some underlying inflammation problems while taking Prednisone, then stopped taking the Prednisone to begin Xolair treatment, it sounds to me like stopping the Prednisone is the culprit. Have you looked in to NSAIDS (non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs)? There are several sitting on the shelves at the pharmacies and grocery stores and Walmart but I'd have to look at them to tell you which. For me, just Tylenol works great to wipe out the aches and pain of aging. My wife just picked up a monster bottle of 500 mg tablets at Sams Club. > > Iwas wondering if anybody is having any body aches and pains?? Theres somedays when it's so hard to get out of bed, or if I sit too long and/or stand too long. wondering if this is from the xolair shot or too much prednizone. I have not had prednizone for 2 months now. Any input would be helpful. thank you > Jeanne >
