Our loss of (Winiarski) Knepp

With feelings of deep sadness and great loss, I am writing to inform the

membership that our long time friend, (Winiarski) Knepp passed away on

Wednesday, January 9, from heart failure due to complications from a spinal

injury. After months of hospitalizations and rehab, she was able return to the

comforts of her home with her husband, Lee, and family in McVeytown,

Pennsylvania for the last few months.

grew up in District 5 and moved to District 2 with her husband, Lee.

was very compassionate, giving and supportive of her family and friends.

She had a great sense of humor, a smile that lit the room, and a zest for

socializing. She lived and loved life to the fullest.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the Seven

Mountains Eagles' Club in Burnham, Pennsylvania from 2:00 - 5:00. A church

memorial service is planned in the spring in the Detroit, Michigan area.

In lieu of flowers, Lee asks that donation to be made to the LPA PA Dutch

chapter.
