Guest guest
I'm away with limited internet access, noooo... I'm not in prison! haha I'm down south for some sun, fun, and I'm up for meeting anyone:). Hey, read this, a Staten Island, NY, bar cancels 'dwarf' bowling thnx to a NY law that was enacted in 1990. Wow, it's that long ago now. http://tinyurl.com/yu78fa & http://tinyurl.com/22c52g Meet Reece, a kid lp from the UK, who is opting for ELL to gain some height. Although the article states he is a dwarf, it never says which type, but to me he doesn't look Achon, or those who more than the rest are usually associated with that surgery, with his pic. http://tinyurl.com/yvt8oa An interview with Dinklage, the actor. Now, there may be a vid with this, I dunno, as I'm doing this from a library and that to me appears to blocked by the library. http://tinyurl.com/25r4an " STARS conference for disabled set Saturday, " in Boca Raton, Fl, and the keynote speaker is to be, Greg Rice. You may remember him and his twin brother, , also an lp, who has unfortunately passed away. http://tinyurl.com/24aeds Meet Mark, with pic. Apparently this newspaper did other recent articles on us too, including more pics and a vid entitled, 'Day in the life of a little person'-featuring Bekah, a college student lp. So, rather than my posting each link separately click the corresponding links for each in the article on Mark. http://tinyurl.com/25rxzj Meet Matan, a male lp 'praised for taking multiple surgeries in stride.' " His attitude through multiple surgeries has drawn applause, but he says it's just part of who he is... " http://tinyurl.com/ytjuz6 Meet , a Primordial lp, and her mum, Maggie, who are going thru hard times at the moment. http://tinyurl.com/28gx85 " City celebrates toddler's birthday, " little Levi's. http://tinyurl.com/2eyyqr Levi has been posted on here before, he has 'Jansen's Metaphyseal Chondrodysplasia. Altho the article doesn't mention it, Levi has his own web site: http://www.littlelevi.com Matt Roloff recently spoke at the East Carolina University. http://tinyurl.com/2eop5y According to another news article 'Little People/Big World' will begin its third season on March 3rd. I thought it was past its third. 11 year old lp looks up to Matt Roloff and all he and his family have done with their TV show. http://tinyurl.com/yw8yzb Meet a former lp wrestler who 'shares experiences with students'. http://tinyurl.com/2dvahu " Boy with dwarfism stays with foster mom. " http://tinyurl.com/2c44ju & here too, same issue, but entirely different articles from 2 separate newspapers. http://tinyurl.com/2y7e3c In the link just above ^^^ you can read the comments, but in the first link, I believe, you must register first to read the comments which I think it's free to do so. " Hospital helps families cope with difficulties of dwarfism, " with a pic of a little guy who was at Camp Little People, tho the article is really on Chloe Hale, the main lp in the article. http://tinyurl.com/2zoh55 7 of the 9 surviving Munchkins to appear at a mall in Florida, March 8-9 for 'Wizard of Oz Festival'. http://tinyurl.com/2eypq3 And speaking of Munchkins I had to include this as it's just plain cute:). Dogs and their genes have been manipulated by man for over a few millenia or so, and now its with cats we are doing such. Someone has cross bred a Munchkin cat, which is an official 'dwarf' breed, with a Selkirk Rex. The new breed is called, I kid you not, a Lambkin! To me it looks just like a new Webkin my niece would prolly would want to have!! haha Meet Lambie, the name I've given it, the itty bitty wooly booly! hehe http://tinyurl.com/yroldh Back atcha in a few days or a week. I had a couple other articles on my cell, hope to get them later. luv, grady
