Guest guest
I have to start giving myself b12 injections weekly (IM, not SC) and was wondering if any of you more knowledgeable in this than I might have some pointers. I hear the thigh is the best spot if I'm giving it to myself, or upper arm below the shoulder if someone else is giving it, but wonder if there was anything else I should know/try to make it easier? Thanks!
Guest guest
, I would ask the nurse at your doctor's office to show you. When I gave them to patients we used a Z track. Iron has a way of staining the skin. Using this Z track approach prevents the fluid leaking out and staining the skin..............hope this helps. Jan From: rrgrimes_u3@...
