Guest guest
I want to say how proud I am of Lois Gerage Lamb stepping up to the " big chair " as a candidate for LPA President. Lois has had elected positions in LPA as District Dirctor and National VP of Programs. She truely is an individual who cares about the membership . She has demonstrated this time and time again as Vice President of Programs by making sure the members and officers have been fully aware of all the benefits of LPA through Adoption, Scholarship and Medical Financial Assistance. She has remained a steady voice on the Executive Committee through many years. She brings experience and dedication . When she was considering whether she should run for President , I encouraged her, because I know that she deserved the opportunity to shape the future of LPA as President. With Lois's experience, she brings a network of support and advisors that can be unmatched. Lois's work with District Directors, Chapter Presidents and Executive Committees gives her broad base of input that represents the membership. Lois has stepped up and been a Conference Chairperson in Texas and other conferences. I support Lois, because she has supported LPA and the membership in so many ways. She has been a part of our past leadership and has earned the right to take the reins and be responsible for the future. She knows the membership... and will guide and serve us well in the next two years. She's not about pettiness or bickering.... she's about moving forward and keeping the peace. So I know she will mentor any new Executive Committee members who come on board and will reach out to bring new leadership in. Lois will be a stable force that will lead.
