Guest guest
> Had a crappy weekend. I'm *still* sick - it lessens up for a day or so then I'm sitting there with a tissue box and rescue asthma inhaler again. And of course, Ed is on vacation again this week and we have tons of plans so I can't even hide under the covers with a bowl of chicken soup. >Sat woke up with a headache of a lifetime. Sorry to hear about the migraines. Henry used to get them when younger, and I know some women who just have to hole themselves up in a dark room for up to 3 days until they pass. I know you can't do that with the 2 girls depending on you. > Went home. Meds only lasted 2 hrs. Must be a real " mother " of a headache if the Demerol only lasted 2 hours! > So I am going to start a log of the > headaches and see If I can figure a trigger for them. Good luck. The people I know who get them could never figure out their triggers - they just come on with no warning at all under all kinds of conditions. Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones. Guest guest
You would not have enjoyed much of south Texas this summer.....no rain and 50+ days of 100 or more temperatures! The last two week have been a respite from the heat, but only teasing rain showers. Every thing is brown, dead and we are losing trees and shrubs....I've never seen it quite like this and I remember the drought back in the 50's. Good side--the ragweed is not growing very much--no rain--and it is not expected to bother allergy sufferers. Bad news...no rain means more dust in the air and according to the radio...more dust mites as well! Thank Goodness for the xolair. It has really helped with the seasonal allergies for me.. Guest guest
Well we actually have summer from June-Sept, but it was a cool one this year, only a handful of days to swim. I used the a/c to keep the humidity down and for me to breathe easier. I hope we have a mild winter but since all our weather came from the north this year I bet it still will and it'll be cold out of Canada. Jan From: gwen5052@... Guest guest
I have only seen a few leaves that have changed. My tomatoes are still growing as are the beans. I think the weather in South Carolina would be ideal. But I too can not move. The mold, grass and weeds are high here, alot of folks are complaining about their allergies. As for me I am so hoping that I get relief from zolair like you all are. Gosh I am so tired of allergies and sneezing and wheezing and coughing,,,,,,,,,,well you all know how that is. I haven't heard from the doctor's office yet. How long did it take after you signed the papers to hear? Jan From: asthmatic50@... Date: Mon, 7 Sep 2009 16:00:45 -0700 Subject: Re: [ ] Mon.
