Guest guest
Remember, it takes a bit of time before xolair works...and it is a drug and as such can have side effects. I'm doing the testing over again, IGE, PFT, and then will apply after I see the doctor next week. I am guessing I'll be terrified too when it all gets approved, but after reading all the positive results on this site, I hope you're excited too! > > From: Kathy & Chuck Egan <ckegan33@...> > Subject: [ ] I am approved > > Date: Monday, May 24, 2010, 10:31 AM > >  > > Finally my insuance company approved Xoliar - it is being overnighted to me. Why am I suddenly terrified!!!!!!  > >
Guest guest
I will give it time - I am starting June 17th - with the end of school for my children it was the first time I could give up 3 hours if my time - doc said 3 hours first three shots and then it gets less. -  ________________________________ From: Ol Wheezy <uca79iii@...> Sent: Thu, May 27, 2010 2:15:23 PM Subject: [ ] Re: I am approved  Darcy, In this group we find that every one reacts to xolair differently. A few days ago we had one member say that xolair started working after a few shots. Others take longer like myself. At 6 months of getting 2 shots every 2 weeks with no results I wanted to quit but my doctor advised me to say the course. I am glad I did for it took me a year to see any relief. I used to be on 40 Prednisone a day. (We call it " evil candy " in the group LOL) I am completely off evil candy now and only use my neb of xopenex 2 times a day. What a complete difference. Also, I have been taking the shots for almost 7 years without one problem at all. Hope we have helped you out with our positive words of experience Doug Group founder
Guest guest
They first 3 series of shots I had to wait 3 hours after injections. Now it is just 1 hour after injection. I have to have them done at the hospital infusion center. I have to show them my EPI every time. My doc said 30 minutes the first shot and after that I can just leave with my epi pens. > > I will give it time - I am starting June 17th - with the end of school for my children it was the first time I could give up 3 hours if my time - doc said 3 hours first three shots and then it gets less. -Â Â > > > >________________________________ > From: Ol Wheezy <uca79iii@...> > > Sent: Thu, May 27, 2010 2:15:23 PM > Subject: [ ] Re: I am approved > > Â > > > Darcy, > > In this group we find that every one reacts to xolair differently. > A few days ago we had one member say that xolair started working after a few shots.
