What I know as a Tall person

I have read many e-mails from most of you, and know

exactly what alot of people that don't know or

understand how or why it happens that people are the

height they are. I know alot of LP's and most of you

are great with who you are. That's awesome. I also

know a LP that wouldn't talk, look, or anything with

someone that they didn't know, for fear of what would

be said. They were very unfeeling when approached. I

visited with this person and told them that they

shouldn't dwell on " WHAT " they are, and concentrate on

" WHO " they are. Who they are is more important than

what they are. Everyone has a purpose no matter what

size, height, color, national origin, or sexual

preference. All of us are equal, and that is what God

intended. My husband is an LP and I know most of the

physical problems that are common with LP's and us

that are tall have the same problems, too. I am not

going to say that LP's are just special, EVERYONE is

special in their own way, along with we are odd in our

own way. Being tall has its disadvangates also. For

me, I can't find pants LONG enough. Have you ever

seen what it looks like to try to add on to legs of

pants??? Now THATS odd.......lol!! I have met a man

that is 7 foot 6 and he has about the same physical

problems as LP's, only he has to take medication to

quit growing. He and I were talking and having fun,

when I told him if he cut his legs off at the knee and

added it to my hubby, they would be the same height,

he laughed and said that he only wishes he could do

that. So, I know some of you have heard all this

before, I guess all I am trying to say is that not to

think of " What " you are, and let the " Tall " people

know " Who " you are. Sometime, if you just can't think

of what to say, just tell them that you are just like

them, only shorter.

I would be careful of this request.

MTV also produces the show via VH! called " I LoveNewYork " the dating

show that featured an LP who was one of the contestants. WHen the

potential Bride named New York, allowed him to Remain in the finals

her mom went nuts that she chose a " midget "

Also does MTV even have clearance to do this at The " Conference " ?
