Guest guest
Well I don't know where to start. My name is Tricia, I am 34 years old and was diagnosed with asthma in Sept 2006. At that time I am been treated with bronchitis with my family doctor for several days, been getting IV steroids in his office daily. Then one night I couldn't breath, my sister took me to ER and my pulse ox was 76%. So after several days in the hospital and a million tests, they said I had asthma. I have been hospitalized 4 more times and am on ADVAIR 500/50, zyflo CR, zyrtec, flonase, 20mg steroids daily(with many bursts), nexium. I am still at least once a month have to go up on my steroids. My PFT's are in the 60's and I now sleep with 2L oxygen and use it as needed for low pulse ox. I found out yesterday that I was approved to start xolair, now I am waiting to find out what my copay is going to be. I would love to hear everyones story. I am very nervous!!
