Update / Advice Needed: Urgent!

Dont quit that job!

You still have time. Tell your

Boss you changed your mind.

You realized you made a hasty

decision, you were down in the

dumps, flu bug, headache, etc.

make up a good one!

But dont tell them I said so!

You now have at very least, some

kind of employment for whatever $$.

It evidently pays the bills now.

Going by what you wrote us in the list,

your job at airline call center is

stressful, you dont enjoy phone work,

etc. But you have made friends there

and the Boss likes your work.

I would let them know your health

concerns, etc. I bet they would

accomodate you some how. You quitting

would make them look bad, like they

did something.

You mentioned that your job is

in the airline biz. Right now that

industry is in turmoil, losses,

layoffs, etc. Practically the whole

American Economy is in a state of

confusion, higher energy prices,

falling value of dollar, real estate-

problems, the list goes on...

The Bottom Line:

If you quit now, you are not entitled

to any compensation, unemployment, etc.

But, IF YOU STAY IN THE JOB, and get

caught up in the turmoil of airline

troubles, and get laid off, then at

least you are entitled to collect

unemployment for maybe a year or so.

Think about it. Way back when,

I left a job, gave them a month

notice. But, Oh boy, it was several

years before I got back on my feet.

And that was during good economic

times, not like now!

So thats about it from me.
