What sort of disibilities do different types of LP's have?

as in I keep hearing about the hips..and or bones, or bowed legs, or

arthritis..but, what

other issues have LP's had to deal with?

Also, I am assuming this..but, I have to ask..do most LP's live a LONG life?

I hear all kinds of tales..but, I have no idea what is the actual truth of these

stories.

What are the issues that LP's usually face with regards to birth, and life after

birth, and so

on..what have some of you had to go thru..and were you able to get a lot of

help, or is

there ever " red tape " with health orgs?

etc..

I am asking so that I get the truth..I have since learned that my assumptions

and t.v.

shows/even documentaries, can throw one off kilter!!
