Guest guest
Tricia, Genetech offers a $1500 'debit'card' that is used to off-set the deductible. Call them and ask about the card. Also, they referred me to a foundation that is also helping with my expense. With my policy, I have a $1500 deductible and a $4000 out of pocket max. The foundation help is well worth it. I make a nice (not fantastic) income and still qualified due to the cost of the med. Good luck!  Mike McBride O God do not leave me. I have done nothing good in your sight, but according to your goodness, let me now make a beginning of good. - Abba Arsenius ________________________________ From: tjcroushore <mom2alexnabbie@...> Sent: Fri, February 26, 2010 6:27:09 PM Subject: [ ] insurance questions?  well i got a letter from insurance today saying the med will cost me $250/month. Plus I have to go to hospital to have it injected, so will have out it given every 2 weeks with a outpatient charge. So I will have to pay my $750 deductible and then my $2500 out of pocket for the year UGH!! I now have to decide how I will be able to pay this and if it will be worth it...I have 2 pulms due to my hard to control asthma and this is what they both have recommended since NOTHING else has worked. I have been on daily oral steroids for over a year, plus burst of steroids almost monthly. My PFT's at best are in the 60%. Any suggestions?
