Guest guest
Hi Addy No, I haven't told Dr. Hill about the dryness... I will call him today. I'm so afraid he won't give me the Xolair anymore and I'm hoping it's just a combination of adipex, correctol and bad sinuses. I've read every article I can get my hands on and see no side effects of dry mouth/throat from xolair. I'll keep you all updated on what they find along with how I'm feeling at the end of the day with no adipex in me. Adipex works wonders in helping to lose weight... even while on steriods, I've lost over 10 pounds... but it's not worth the dry mouth/trouble swallowing discomfort!!!! Maybe there is a reaction between xolair and adipex that isn't yet reported... If I see improvement after stopping the adipex and feel normal again by tomorrow, I'll definitely report this to Genetech and Xpansions! They call me 1X a week to see how I'm progressing! Thanks so much for your concern... You are all such a blessing to such a undeserving soul! Many blessings to all, In a message dated 3/23/2011 6:30:50 A.M. While it's certainly possible that the dry mouth/throat issue developed due to other medications and only recently appeared, the swallowing issues you're having are a red flag for me. Talk about this with your prescribing physician and ask him to make some calls and see if other physicians have reported this....
