Guest guest
I spoke with my specialty pharmacy today and they were very " cagey " about my new authorization for shipment of the Xolair to my doctor's office. They said that IF my insurance " suddenly " decided not to pay for the Xolair, I would need to pay the balance. That didn't seem too strange to me, but then he he went onto insist that I sign up immediately for the Xolair co-pay assistance program " in case " my insurance doesn't pay. So far, I've been on the medicine since June 2010 and never had a co-pay. The pharmacy rep says in order for me to get the co-pay assistance I would need to sign up for the co-pay card BEFORE my shipment occurs (tomorrow). I've seen posts out here on the co-pay assistance, do you guys know... do I need to sign up for this just in case?? On a positive note, I seem to really be improving and have come off Qvar steriod inhaler. I still have the Advair, but my peak flows are staying above my goal numbers and I'm incredibly grateful for the medicine. Thanks in advance for the advice, Darcy
Guest guest
There are actually two different programs. There is " co-pay assistance " and then there is the Xolair Debit Card. As I have previously suggested,it would be in everyone who is on Xolair, best interest to sign up for the Xpansions program. That has all of the necessary information on obtaining either or both of those programs. You can do that by going to https://www.xpansions.com/splash.jsp From: Darcy <darcy.buckner@...> Cc: Sent: Wednesday, January 26, 2011 10:57 PM Subject: [ ] Question about Co Pay Assistance & good news I spoke with my specialty pharmacy today and they were very " cagey " about my new authorization for shipment of the Xolair to my doctor's office.
