gang, thanks again to all those who gave love prayers and

suggestions, both on list and off!

I went for a followup visit to the vet this morning for both pups and

the visit went VERY well.

Friday i was in a panic because the older male pup (Matoh) seemd to

be getting much worse (healing crisis!) where the little new female

seemed to be improving and so i made an appt for them both to be seen.

Anyway, Saturay morning, i woke up because the male was hacking so

bad, and got up to let them out. When i called them back in, the

male would not get up, so i figured he wanted to be out and let him

be. I called for him a couple of hours later and had to go find him

(in the yard) and had to help him up and walk with him into the

house. He was so weak and clearly lost about 3 to 5 pounds during

all of this. So i went bonzai and got a bit more aggressive in dosing

him.

First, earlier in the week i had already switched both puppys to a

half raw supplement to the existing diet. I mixed raw ground chuck

into their puppy food along with shredded carrot, ground orange peels

and either some egg or powdered egg shell. Then i made a blend of 2

tsp of raw medicinal honey with 1/2 cap of astragulus/reishi/miatake,

10 drops of echinacea tincture, 10 drops of GF Seed ext and 5 drops

of lobelia, and 1 tblsp of powdered orange peels and hand fed this to

them (they loved it by the way!) before breakfast and then mid day

and then at night. Let me just say, that the imporvement i had from

Friday morning until today is miraculous! The vet took both

temperatures and didnt even treat the male saying it looked like he

was recovering just fine and there was no need to put him on anything

what we were doing was working great!

Anyway, i just had to say thanks again.

Sylvia
