Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to this group, so first I would like to see hello. I was glad to find a group like this. I started taking Xolair injections at the end of September. I was diagnosed with asthma at age 3 (I'm now 42), and a few years ago was diagnosed with ABPA. My IgE levels were also in the thousands--as I've read, that's pretty common here. But, I also learned that they fluctuate dramatically during the year. So, we waited until I was in a " good " place--IgE around 800--and then applied. I now get 3 injections every two weeks. So, my question is this...for about an hour after the injections, I feel dizzy and shaky, but then I'm fine. My doctor says it's probably related to the coffee I drink in the morning, but I have coffee every morning without that effect. Does anyone else experience any dizziness? I started searching for answers on the internet, nad that's how I found this group. In the meanwhile, I also saw several scary sites about heart disease related to Xolair. My doctor hasn't mentioned that possibility to me. Should I be concerned? Thanks! Mari

I am even newer to Zolair than you are, but after reading lots of these posts, I am hoping for the same great results. Seems like most of the people here are willing to cope with the possible side effects, as without Zolair they had other serious medical issues. Try reading through the older posts as you may find something about the dizziness there. Wishing you good health. Marilyn
