I asked her about the question of joint pain and this was her response:

" Hello all, I have seen postings about joint pain and Xolair. As head nurse for

Xolair in a Specialty Pharmacy and tracking each & every person on it, I never

heard joint pain from any one I spoke to. Repetative motion causes joint pain,

Arthritis of any kind does also. Being on prednisone and now off could be the

culprit. Most of us are heavier than the norm due to the prednisone and extra

weight causes joints to work harder. So, see your physician, have them draw

labs for arthritis, take x-rays of affected areas & formulate treatment plans.

I highly doubt there is any correlation beween Xolair & joint pain. Warm

compresses never hurt & will help the pain. Some people prefer cold compresses.

Hope this helps

Pat "
