I don't see anything else after that one mention. I seem to be developing allergies and don't even know where they are coming from. How specifically does this relate to candida? Thanks Doug > Hi, my kids are basically allergic to everything, so I have been doing tons of research on this. This is what I have come up with (If I'm wrong, someone please correct me) You have a systemic candida infection-this basically implants into your gut actually growing roots, thus permeating your gut/digestive tract causing leaky gut. If you have leaky gut larger food particles are leaking out of your gut and into your bloodstream. Your body doesn't recognize these " larger " particles and begins triggering reactions. What I have found and am currently trying is, probiotics, multivitamin/mineral, aloe vera juice, calcium supplements, epsom salt baths (naturally detoxify the body and supplies the body with magnesium) and digestive enzymes. We are also on a rotation diet so that reactions don't build up in the system. My thoughts are that the enzymes will break the foods down enough to where the body won't think they are invaders. Hopefully I will only need to use the enzymes until I can get the gut healed, because then the larger particles won't be entering the bloodstream. Healing the gut starts with getting rid of the candida and staying away from trigger foods.
Guest guest
I think you have a good grasp of the issue, . Kids should harbor bifidobacteria as the main probiotic; the gut population of small children can be up to 95% bifidobacteria if they're healthy. Probiotics are fed well with inulin, specific soluble fiber that is comon in non-starchy and non-sweet vegetables. It can be added to a deficient diet to improve digestion and immune response and prevent bowel cancer starts. all good, Duncan > > > > I notice in the description of candida by this group's intro. that mention is made of new allergies. Guest guest
Hey everyone, This is my first time posting to this group, but I thought this would be a good subject to bring up. This group has been a great source of information from what I have read so far. I have been on Xolair for about 6 months after a lifetime of allergies and asthma and I think it is now just starting to work slightly. However, in recent weeks I have developed an allergy to almonds, which I never had before. It was a sudden, unexpected, and severe reaction. I was allergic to peanuts already, but never tree nuts. I was wondering, has anyone developed new food/environmental/etc. allergies since being on Xolair? I don't know if this is a freak thing or related to Xolair. I spoke about it with my allergist and they said that this can just happen. Have a fabulous Monday! Jen
Guest guest
I haven't heard of anything like this specifically, but I'm assuming that a peanut allergy puts you at increased risk for allergies to tree nuts. I do know our sensitivities can change over time. Be sure to talk with your doctor about this. Guest guest
I actually developed a food allergy before starting Xolair and it has helped. It turns out that allergies constantly change so what you are allergic today you may not be allergic to in a few years, however you may develop others. Aren't allergies fun!? They keep you guessing! I would stay away from all nuts. ________________________________ From: americanlovebug <americanlovebug@...> Sent: Mon, February 28, 2011 11:25:47 AM Subject: [ ] New Allergies?
