bronchitis. It got pretty complicated (my peak flow was barely reaching 200) so

I finally 'let' my doctor put me on Prednisone. I was on 4 years of it straight

from July 2005-July of this year but my dose was not high for years. Well, I now

remember why I dislike Prednisone so much. I have become a neurotic, impatient,

constantly snacking, insomniac. I am so glad my doctor only has me on a 13-day

course this time, he says my Xolair injections will help keep the asthma

inflammation under control so this whole thing can clear it self up quicker. I

forgot what being on high doses of Pred felt like because Xolair has reduced my

need for it. This experience has certainly made me grateful for that magic

hampster egg juice!
