Guest guest
There **are** some times when burning candles is helpful to me. I live in a large metropolitan area with a lot of air pollution and I find that burning one votive candle in the shower (for safety's sake so it doesn't catch any towels or papers on fire) does help a bit to get rid of the pollution. The pollution in and of it's self gives me awful headaches. In the winter time the air tends to be stagnant without air conditioning and with pet odors ... well, it doesn't do my lungs a lot of good. I did " overdose " on candles once with about 4 heavily scented ones burning in the house at once. Such a headache and feeling bad - it was quite counter productive. So, for some of us, some scents in moderation (low " dose " ), short term, and indirect are ok and unscented candles can even be helpful. Happy Holidays!
