Guest guest
It may have to do with the xolair is classified...as a " therapy " much like chemo-therapy for cancer patients; or it may be the only way medicare will pay; or it may be the requirement of the doctor...ALL JUST GUESSES. I get mine at an allergy clinic which also does research and testing, and it still does xolair testing. My own allergist does not do medicare medicine like xolair, which is why he sent me to this clinic.  This clinic has about 80 xolair patients. From: mpink1000 <mpink@...> Subject: [ ] taking xolair shot at places other than your doctors office Date: Saturday, November 20, 2010, 9:34 PM  Does anyone know why Medicare patients have to go to the hospital outpatient clinic for their Xolair shot. Guest guest
My husband gives mine at home. It is called " brown bagging. " Actually, I am suppose to take it to the dr.'s office but they taught him how to mix it and give the shots. I can give them to my self in my thighs sometimes.
