Guest guest
Doug, I just got back from Arkansas today. I did not do so well yesterday in Lake Village and Eudora. Something really aggrivated my allergies and asthma. I am currently on the 5th day of a prednisone taper but I was still miserable. With that said, we had a good time with famly and friends and the hot cat fish was out of sight. ----- Original Message ----- From: Db <uca79iii@...> xolair users < > Sent: Sun, 20 Mar 2011 19:39:18 -0000 (UTC) Subject: [ ] Re: My wonderful Allergy clinic and staff , Ask your doctor about the epi pen. He/she can give you a prescription to pick one up at your pharmacy. Some doctors require that you carry one after injections, some don't. They say things are going to get worse as spring arrives full force. As for me, all the regular allergy shots and Xolair keep me pretty well sniffle free and away from the steroids If I was on a Pred taper I WOULD be miserable. Sweating, weight gain, irritablity, my blood sugar going through the roof...ugh! I hate steroids. I hope that soon you will not need any tapers Doug
