Pain clinic suggested a Pred taper for me. NO WAY!

As most of you know, because of many years on pred I have had to have two

cervical disk fusion surgeries. C-4 to 6 in 1998 and C-6 to 7 with a metal plate

in 2007.

I still have pain down my arms because of these surgeries. My my neurosurgeon

says that another surgery to fuse C-3 to 4 would not help and he sent me to a

pain clinic.

They have given me small steroid shots in the exact area of pain and

Radiofrequency ablation without success. Now they want me to have a large Pred

burst and long taper? NO WAY!

The drug that caused the problem in the first place is now the one that is going

help? I wish xolair took away post op pain too.
