Guest guest
Hope you're feeling better soon, Doug. I haven't had any Xolair since December 21. Usually, I get three shots every two weeks. There's a reorganization going on at my insurance company and they screwed up the renewal on my pre-approval. A very rude nurse at my doctors office (I don't know who she was, everyone is usually so nice there.) tried to tell me that I should have months of coverage from the shots I've already had. I know from past experience, that I can go 17 days between shots before I start to go downhill fast. I feel horrible! I can't breathe well enough to have a five minute conversation. If I get up to do anything, the pain in my chest is so bad. It hurts just sitting here. I'm coughing and wheezing like crazy. Believe it or not, I was worse last week. My husband bought me some homeopathic pills made from arsenic and they've helped a little. I feel less like a damp dishrag, so that's good. This couldn't have come at a worse time. I'm supposed to be out picking out lighting and appliances for the bubble my husband is building me. But I can barely go to the kitchen, there's no way I can go to the store. Kind of ironic, huh? I could use that bubble to live in more than ever and I can't help get it ready. At least I have shots scheduled next week. Fingers crossed! > > In fact, I can't even drive to the doctors office. Guest guest
, I am so sorry, you sound just miserable. Goodness, were you this bad all the time before you started Xolair? A clean room is a good thing, I have one and it seems to help. Check out good air purifiers, that also helps to keep one area really clean. Hope you get your shot real soon! Guest guest
Thanks, Marilyn. I was pretty sick before I started Xolair. I would be dead now without it. Things will be better when I get my bubble and my shots. They're scheduled for Tuesday. (The shots, that is. The bubble won't be ready for about a month.) Until then, I'm going to take it easy and try not to stress myself physically or emotionally. I do need a new air purifier. Does anyone have a good recommendation? I saw one that used water as a filter. That sounds like a great concept...plus no filters to replace, just dump out the water. Has anyone tried one of those? Breathe well, > > , I am so sorry, you sound just miserable. Goodness, were you this bad all the time before you started Xolair? A clean room is a good thing, I have one and it seems to help.
