Oh yes indeedy...I have learned so much on here.

by the way I had a broncosopy recent and NO eosinophic cells were

present...(allergic cells)...

I have other issues but this is good news which can be attributed to the xolair.

Thank you Doug, for being farsighted enough to see the need for such a forum 

It helped me tremendously when I first started xolair, four years ago!  It has

definitely made a difference in my life!

So glad you had a good report.

How was the bronchoscopy? Were you " out " for it? Does having eosinophic cells

in the lungs indicate something serious? I was thinking that my eosonophils

(sp?) were most always elevated on my blood tests.

I know that Xolair is supposed to keep the IgE from binding with the mast cells

and thereby preventing the cascading events leading to allergic reactions (or

something like that) but I didn't know it could actually wipe out the

eosonophils.

On a separate but somewhat related subject, when I was on Xolair my IgE went up

to over 1100 .... However, my allergies were better.

Just curious about it all but importantly, things are working for you.

That's excellent Doug!  In October I will be celebrating 6 years on Xolair. 

It seems the longer I take this the better it works.  I can't remember the last

time I used my rescue inhaler.

, that's GREAT! I however, have to still neb daily but not as much as I

used to. Xolair has taken away my need for Prednisone and steroids.
