Guest guest
Hi , I've been on Xolair about 6 months now and am noticing gradual improvement of all symptoms. My peak flows are better, I can exercise easier, and I just feel better over all. I got off the dreaded prednisone and have started to drop some weight too. Congratulations and thanks for sharing on your success, it encourages me that I have even more relief on the way. Thanks, darcy --- In , " shellysteiner33 " <shellysteiner33@...> wrote: > > Hello group members! > > I have been on Xolair for the last three years, however my reason for starting Xolair was not asthma but anaphalyxis. I developed severe allergies to trees in the last four years and suffered three systemic allergic reactions due to the sir that I was breathing. It was terrible. However my doctor chose to try Xolair. My IgE levels were at 980 or higher and I have to take 375mg (three shots) every other week. I have also experienced my highest peak flows in my life. Although I was never diagnosed with asthma my highest peak flow was only 300, it is now 500. This is an amazing drug and has saved my life. I have not experienced any side effects. I would recommend this miracle drug to anyone who needs it. Although I do have a friend who tried it and did not relief. I wonder if there is a specific type of allergy that the medication works better on than others. hmmmm! > > Thanks for listening! > > Steiner >
