Guest guest
Hey . What type of sleep apnea do you have? CSA, OSA or mixed? Proper diagnosis and etiology protocols, precede any specific recommendations. Guest guest
Nick, A Vermont remedy is just to dissolve 3 Tbsp of apple cider vinegar in a jar of raw honey. Consume some of this paste at bedtime.. you can dissolve it in water if you find it too strong tasting. Along with this remedy I take a capsule of 500 mg of GABA that I get from Swanson's. This knocks me out within minutes. I sleep soundly. Both the acv and the raw honey have other health advantages as well. This has never failed me. Of course we are all different. > > > > > > > I have sleep apnea, and my FNP ordered a CPAP machine. Guest guest
Hey , This was regarding 's sleep apnea. Thanks, anyway! I sleep like a baby too. My sleep apnea took place in a previous life time! It seems this way. Mine was OSA and got corrected with minor surgery. Now, part of my wellness routine 1 hour before bedtime I take my " fruity smoothie " with 10gr of undenatured whey powder. Last thing I do is 30 minutes of mantra chanting -meditation- and fall asleep right after. It's just wonderful! Guest guest
I daresay most health professionals outside of Vermont don't advocate that much honey or natural sugar even as a short program as it feeds candida and general bowel dysbiosis in about 80% of the population. I would like to see the Vermont statistics for candidiasis, obesity and diabetes. In my particular area of the Northwest only about 1 person in 8 is fat. Indeed we are all different. Beware the glucose roller coaster as it is very seductive. all good, Duncan > > Nick, > A Vermont remedy is just to dissolve 3 Tbsp of apple cider vinegar in a jar of raw honey. Guest guest
My children and i are all gluten intolerant but it took us a while to work out because we all get different symptoms. E.g. my eldest gets asthma (only if he has gluten), the middle child goes partially deaf (inflamed eustacian tubes), so when the six year old developed bad sleep apneoa, the first thing I did was take her off gluten. Within a few days her sleep apneoa was gone. I kept her off gluten but a few months done the track she had a couple of biscuits, and that night her sleep apneoa was back. Just thought it was worth mentioning. My Dad has bad sleep apneoa but isn't willing to try giving up gluten. He'd rather have the sleep apneoa.
