Guest guest
I always use scissors to cut the stems into pieces as I put the cilantro in - makes it much easier to NOT get wrapped around the blades. I do the same with celery - not hard to hand break a stalk into 4 pieces, or roughly chop a stalk of celery with a knife (I actually love my ULU knife for this - Google that ;-)FYI - my favorite Guacamole recipe is to make Salsa, then leave some in the container and add Avocado! It is up to the taste of the chef to determine how many avocados and how much salsa to leave in the container… Blessings,Lea Ann SavageSatellite Beach, FL(321) 773-7088 (home)(321-961-9219 (cell)))><'>www.VitamixLady.comwww..com<))>< On Jan 5, 2012, at 10:13 AM, wrote: A friend is a new Vitamix owner and made her first guacamole. She found the cilantro, which she put in last, wrapped around the blade. Should she have run the VM longer or ????? Unfortunately, I'm not lucky enough to own a VM so can't help her. Thank you for any suggestions. Nan
