Weighing down the mung bean seeds is supposed to make them fatter and

juicier. I'm happy with mine without the weight. However, I bought a

Freshlife spouter which I just started some mung beans with weight. I let

you know how that works out

I grow the mungs in a long tube sprouter from Sproutpeople.com. I put

the soaked seeds in the bottom, cover that with a piece of a plastic lid

cut to fit the tube and with some hole punched in them and place the

rock on top of that. I cover that with black cloth to keep the light

out. Or a cupboard will do. It is a hoot to see all the mungs start

growing upward raising the rock! Rock levitation! Have fun. Diane

Hi,

If you live near a farm supply store, you will find it with the palm

tree food. If not, try a wine making store.

,

Not sure what you mean. Can you explain? What would they sell at this type of

store? Feed? We do live near some farming areas.

Debbie,

Thanks. I will call them I amnot sure what for you purchased it in, but I am

looking for it in powder form....

I thought someone on here would know since it is used to make bath salt fizz

in the water.. (is there anything else that does the same thing? )

But I have trying all the different suggestions and non have been a success. I

wanted to have it now, but it looks if GNC doesn't pan out I will just order it

on line...

Thanks again to everyone's assistance..

.

I have to go to the health food store called earth fare. Try one by your house.

You have to eat *real* food not processed packaged food.

I am on Candida diet and I've heard that citric acid should be avoided as much

as possible. How bad is it really? What does it do to one's body? Citric acid is

in almost everything - from drinks to solid food...

Thanks in advance for you responses.

This study used citric acid as the control so it is known to neither inhibit or

promote the numbers of candida; controls are neutral:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21180960

This work studied a different strain of candida to produce citric acid as a

waste product under certain conditions:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12382045

A waste product of candida is not likely to be food for candida. Candida is

sensitive to an acid condition, which is what you're trying to accomplish in the

bowel in an anti-candida diet.

all good,

Duncan

what is best to eat to create anti-candida environment in the bowels?
