Guest guest
To answer your question, I started eating coconut oil because I read about it being good for weight loss, antiviral speeding up metabolism etc.. But now I just mostly cook with once in a while, and maybe once a week have a spoonful of almond butter that I mixed with coconut oil. Or put it on my skin some and give it to my dogs once in a while. I had no problem like some with break out, rashes or anything else, but started to gain weight and that was probable do to the fact I eat walnut, almonds, and pumpkin seeds daily and take fish oil, and eat avocadoes, and probable have enough fat in my diet. I use olive oil for some cooking, and some salads, also flax oil and lemon juice with garlic and other spices on salad. (it does not get hard in the refrigerator like olive oil. I also eat salmon, fish and some cheese, a little meat, lots of fruit and veggies, no milk, but yogurt, not much grains, pasta or breads, except once in a while Ezekiel bread or totals for fish tacos etc… I also eat some dark chocolate. Also drink Garden of life perfect food in the mornings and after workout protein powder in water. The other thing that happened to me, (which I never had a problem with before), I would wake up in the middle of night feeling like I was going to throw up, like acid reflux? Not sure as I don’t know since it’s never been there before… Now I am still having a little problems with that if I eat late. So I don’t know that coconut oil started it, I thought maybe my gallbladder couldn’t handle the extra fat, but now that I don’t do much coconut oil but still have the problem I’m not sure. I’m a blood type A, and the blood type diet says no coconut oil. I don’t know if that’s right or not on everything they say because their test in the past. My sister-in-law who just had a heart attack said she was told no coconut oil. Also I talked to a man who has done live blood test for many years and he told me that those he test who use coconut oil have more cholesterol, and he prefers olive oil. He also said that those who he’s been testing who got a K Water Filter, and only drank from it for about a year now have some of the worst blood he has seen. He said it changed his mind about buying a alkalizing water filter, and drinking only water that has been molecularly changed. Last year a friend of mine wanted me to buy one, but although I understand alkalizing and oxygen, being good for the body and detoxing, I use a Nikken Mag Pi Aqua pour, which put minerals back in the water and felt in my heart that I didn’t want to drink nothing but water that has been molecularly changed. But I tried her water for 3 months straight, I did not receive any health benefits….He and her husband did right at first, but anyone who quits drinking pop, and drinks water instead, will see a change, ( I don’t drink pop) but she is still drinking just that water over a year later and both of them have more health problems than before. And have not lost any more weight than when the first did, maybe 5lbs. I also know a man who had colon cancer, started drinking that water, changed his diet, started getting better, but now worse again. I know that’s not about coconut oil, but I thought I’d mention it, as I do not have much time to get on here, and while I was thinking about it thought I’d share. Be blessed! I truly believe all water was originally designed by God to be alkalizing, but men have polluted it and messed with the water so much that smart men saw the need to get that alkalizing water back into our diets and so alkalized water machines were developed. I saw rapid improvement in my health as I drank a gallon of 7.0 pH water per day. That was more in ounces than my body weight, but I was pretty desperately needing help with my health. I saw more than a hand full of things clear up for me. I really thought it would take me all the way, but I have learned that the body is complicated and it really does need more than just alkalizing to get all better. I took a few months off, but now I am back to drinking that water again. I don't know what a K Water Filter is, so do your homework in this area. But alkalized water really was life saving for me. Guest guest
Hi Lyn, K water is Kangen water a “brand name†for alkaline, ionized water. ( multi level, so it cost more than others) That is the kind several friends have and that I drank for 3 months, about a gallon a day. I may not have noticed anything because I was already a big water drinker. It’s also the one where I mentioned the man who has cooln cancer got better at first but then worse. I had read up on many sights about the alkalized, oxygenated water, and though it sounded good, but was not going to jump on buying one, so I waited, tried it, but I have yet to see they make much of a lasting change in peoples life, and that’s what this health guy who has done many years of live blood testing said, He wanted one until he started seeing his patients blood with long use of the water. It changed his mind on it. He said their blood was terrible, and if he gave them liquid minerals and retested their blood 30 min or more later their blood would change for the better. (Dr. Wheeler and Dr. Mercola are not big on using that water all the time either.) Last week I put a small bottle of oxygen I got from a heath wellness guy I live by. I don’t remember if it’s called, manna Something ? but ( it leaches out into the water) in my Nikken Mag Pi Aqua pour water filter. So I will see if I can tell anything on it. If we all could only have access to clean spring water the way God made it, we’d have it made. Oh, I still have not got to try the magnets. Maybe soon… Thanks, Lori E From: Coconut Oil [mailto:Coconut Oil ] On Behalf Of Lyn K Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2011 12:44 PM Coconut Oil Subject: Re: Start Talking about Coconut Oil Then/I added water > He also said that those who he’s been testing who got a K Water Filter, and only drank from it for about a year >now have some of the worst blood he has seen. Guest guest
We have the Big Berkey, and i like the water coming out from it. It reduces chlorine and flouride through the two filters and other halides, bacteria, etc. It also has a good PH output. We distilled our water, but that does not seem to be good to use long term. I started having stomach pain, and i switched tothe plain berkey filtered water and my stomach is slowly healing. The Berkey also reduces mercury and other metals. My hope is that it reduces Fukushima radiation as well. > > Hi Lyn, > > > > K water is Kangen water a “brand name†for alkaline, ionized water. Guest guest
Tans, Yes, we have the flouride filter as well. Yes, it is a good survival tool. Our city water now says they don't add flouride. We have enough natural flouride in our water which they now have managed to meet the EPA standard. I hope the flouride filter removes all the flouride now. > > We have the Big Berkey, and i like the water coming out from it. He overheard a comment of mine one day about how harmful fluoride is, and challenged me on it. During our subsequent discussion, we discovered the problem... All of the studies that were done that show benefit from fluoride intake, used naturally occurring CALCIUM fluoride (this is what occurs naturally in streams that have high amount of fluoride that isn't from contamination)... They also did studies that showed that SODIUM fluoride was a toxic poison. When I told him that it was SODIUM fluoride that municipalities add to water, he didn't believe me until he made some phone calles. Needless to say, he was dumbfounded, and immediately started filtering the fluoride out of his drinking water.
Guest guest
In order to get my CNC I had to do a term paper at the end of the course. My assigned topic was flouride. I completely concur with what wrote below, as my studies showed the exact same thing. Deaf County, TX was always held up as an example of why community water should be flouridated for the end result was far fewer cavities there. The water in Deaf county had *Calcium* flouride. But the aluminum industry hopped right over that, probably showered the PTB in DC with many percs, and sodium flouridated water was born. The 'tailings' from processing aluminum were so toxic with sodium flouride they were not allowed to put them into land or sea. Voila! We'll put it in the drinking water and tell the innocent and ignorant of the wonderful dental boon we've given them. This horrendous poisoning goes back to the gov't approval in the late 30s to the early 40s. My thoughts are unprintable. But I did get an A+ on my paper. Guest guest
I went to the dentist because a tooth broke. Hadn't been there in 10 years (no insurance). Was using filtered water and brushing with salt. It turned out that I had $1800.00 worth of work in my mouth (not mentioning the 2 teeth I had to have pulled out). The hygienist said she never saw such a clean mouth. I asked why I had so many cavities. She said because I wasn't drinking fluorinated water. Can that be true? ________________________________ From: starshar <starshar@...> Coconut Oil Sent: Saturday, July 23, 2011 9:48 PM Subject: RE: Re: Start Talking about Coconut Oil Then/I added water In order to get my CNC I had to do a term paper at the end of the course. Guest guest
This is also what naturopath author, Rector Page said. Calcium flouride found in veggies naturally is called flourine is very beneficial to the body. The sodium flouride that they add to water i harmful. Now, confirmed by you, i am more assured that the municipal water we have from our city is ok and even better, i filter them with flouride filter. I am sure we get them from our locally produced veggies too. > > We have enough natural flouride in our water which they now have managed > > to meet the EPA standard. Guest guest
, Amen. From what I've just learned, it's sodium fluoride that is toxic. Naturally occuring calcium fluoride such as found in green tea is not toxic in small amounts. Guest guest
> > I asked why I had so many cavities. She said because I wasn't drinking fluorinated water. Can that be true? ------------ A lot of people over on the NT group talk about healing cavities using fermented cod liver oil and mineral supplements such as clay. Might want to look into it, if you don't want to do a lot of drilling and filling. Incidentally, my cousin was a dental hygienist for 20 years and has a lot of knowledge... she said that plaque/tartar is caused by the type of saliva you have, which is genetic and different races of people have different bacteria in their saliva that can cause different problems. I thought that was interesting, and may also apply to the cavity problem. --leah
