Guest guest
Steph, Caprylic acid should not adversely affect your meds. However, when your digestive system is clear of fungal issues, and functioning properly, you may need to reduce some meds. Guest guest
I'm waiting for my hormone panel to come back and then I'm going to do a saliva test for my adrenals. Guest guest
Hi PH, What are meat antigens? My dr said that it's good to take a supplement for adrenals with licorice root in it and the one that Standard Process has, doesn't have the licorice root in it. > > > > > > > > > > Hi everyone. Guest guest
Steph, My doctor told me to go off of it because she wanted me to buy her supplement. Being brain fogged and desperate for a local doc to oversee this, I listened to her. In hindsight I wish I would have gone to Mercola first or else found a great ND here who understood mercury toxicity/implant illness. I think Dr. Kolb knows what she's talking about, yet she couldn't provide the kind of over-seeing that I needed as far as dosage, testing and all that on a regular basis because she's a surgeon. Love, PH > > > > > > > > > > Hi everyone. Sorry I havne't been posting but I have family > > here > > > > > visiting from NC. Guest guest
Hi Steph, An antigen is any substance foreign to the body that evokes an immune response. So basically, when I was told I had meat antigens, it means that my body was reacting to meat as if it was a foreign invader. Since I hadn't changed my diet but had recently been supplementing w/ bovine extracts, I thought maybe that could have something to do with it. But I'm not sure. I was also eating a lot of chicken morning, noon and night and my allergist said the body can develop allergies to foods that are consumed more frequently than once every 4 days. Guest guest
Steph, My hair was a mess...thin, brittle, it just wasn't healthy. I wore it long (always have), but it was all different lengths due to the breakage, and I had a little bit of hair loss more than usual. Just more showing up in my hairbrush. I've always had hair on the thin side, so it was just more of the same. At one time I experimented with some hair pieces, but it just wasn't me. I didn't need them that bad anyway. I noticed the biggest difference in my hair growth when I started drinking kefir on a regular basis. By several months after starting it, my hair was noticeably healthier, longer, shinier! Even my husband made a comment. I believe it was from two aspects: the kefir supplies lots of B vitamins (which I couldn't take because they made me feel sick) and from the healing of any nutrient absorption issues in the gut. Guest guest
I can't wait to get the test in the mail. I think I may be suffering from adrenal fatigue. I also noticed that my eyes felt like they were burning so I tried the Thera Tears that you reccommended and they feel better! How long did you use it for?
