Guest guest
I can't wait to get the test in the mail. I think I may be suffering from adrenal fatigue. I also noticed that my eyes felt like they were burning so I tried the Thera Tears that you reccommended and they feel better! How long did you use it for? Guest guest
Hi Steph, I'm not sure how long I used it...maybe 4 months. I only used a drop or two before bed. It was too lubricating for daytime. Glad it's working for you! Love, PH > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi everyone. Guest guest
Hi PH, Did you experience any muscle twitching or spasms after explant? This week I'm noticing it more than usual. I didn't have any of it before and it's starting to worry me. My test results are back from the stool samples that I had to do so I'll find out next week what the results are from those. Guest guest
Hi Steph, Yes, I've experienced a ton of muscle twitching. Mercola's office says that's due to a magnesium deficiency and put me on magnesium citrate. They said another clue of magnesium deficiency is over- sensitivity to sounds. Since I've been taking it, my twitching happens ver rarely now. Glad you're getting your results next week. Let us know how it turns out! Love, PH > > > > > > > > > > Hi everyone. Guest guest
Do you know of any good supplement with licorice root in it to help with adrenal fatigue? I'm trying to find a good one but I haven't found one yet. Steph Steph, I take a supplement from Standard Process for adrenal fatigue and it has worked great for me. I took 2 others before this one and noticed the greatest difference with it. I take 2 Drenamin twice daily and one Thytrophin twice daily. I noticed a definite increase in energy after using them. I also don't feel completely drained by 6:00-7:00pm like I used to. Info on Thytrophin: http://www.standardprocess.com/display/StandardProcessCatalog.spi?ID=152 Info on Drenamin: http://www.standardprocess.com/display/StandardProcessCatalog.spi?ID=62 You can buy them here or from chiropractors who sell them: http://www.totaldiscountvitamins.com/Merchant/stpframe.htm

Guest guest
My dr's office just called me this afternoon and said that there's an opening today at 4:30. This is the dr who tested my hormones so I rescheduled for today. I take a really good multi vitamin which has magnesium in it but I'm not sure if that's enough. Do you know what the daily amound should be? Steph > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi everyone. Sorry I havne't been posting but I have family > > > here > > > > > > visiting from NC. Guest guest
Hi PH, I just got home from the dr's and got the results from my hormone tests! It showed that my cortisol was too high, my DHEA was on the low side, my thyroid was near the normal range but lower than usual, and I'm very very low on vitamin D. My ND is starting me on vitamin D caps, DHEA 25 mg, a supplement called cortisol control, and he wants me to continue with the armour. He said that he'll restest them again in a couple of months to see where I stand with my other hormones since I just got off of birth control. I'm so glad I took the appt today and I know where I stand! Steph > > > > > > > > Hi everyone. Sorry I havne't been posting but I have family > here > > > > visiting from NC. Guest guest
Hey Steph, I just saw my ND today too and got my hormone results. Mine are way out of wack! My estrogen is way, way to high and my progestrone is way to low. My adrenals are shot and I have hyprothyroidism. I started on progestrone cream and also some herbs for increase my progestrone. I think once we get these issues taking care of....we will start feeling great! Good luck to you! Hugs, Cherie > > > > > > > > > > Hi everyone. Guest guest
Hi Beth, I did the hair test too. It showed I have enourmous amount of aluminum in my system. Not to high with anything else. I did a saliva test for the hormones. You have to spit in a tube first thing in the morning and then I mailed it to a lab. It should my ND alot! I have horrible hormonal issues. I'm really glad I know now so I can get my body in balance. He explained to me today that hormones, adrenals and thyroid are extremely important in keeping the body functioning properly. I am having a comprehensive blood work done tomorrow and having my thyroid checked along with liver functions. My primary care ordered that for me. Then I will give the results from that to my ND. I just got a new primary Dr. who I am pleased with (however like all the other MD's out there...didn't really believe that my problems sky rocketed from my implants) but he really good with getting me labs for my ND. My ND could tell by my symptoms and other issues that I probably had hormonal issue however the results were worse then he thought. He told me that since my hormones are so out of wack and probably have been for so long was why it took me so long to get pregnant and why I did not carry my daughter full term. I would ask your ND what other tests can be done. Nothing wrong with being fully checked out! The cost for me was $225 though for the saliva test.....but well worth it! My Gyn Dr. never did this for me. Good luck! Hugs, Cherie > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi everyone. Sorry I havne't been posting but I have family > > > here > > > > > > visiting from NC. Guest guest
One of these perhaps? Holy Basil has long been used in Ayurvedic medicine to support a healthy response to stress, nourish the mind and elevate the spirit. Revered by Ayurvedic practitioners as "the incomparable one," this herb's documented actions on the body date back thousands of years. Today, we know that holy basil contains a variety of constituents, including eugenol, camphor, caryophyllene, ursolic acid, luteolin and apigenin that function collectively to normalize stress hormones and enhance adrenal function. The properties inherent in this herb make it ideally suited for helping to support a healthy adrenal system and stress response. Ashwaghanda, often referred to as "Indian Ginseng," is a common herb used in Ayurvedic medicine (from India) to support mental and physical vitality and stamina. It contains steroidal compounds and additional chemical constituents that advance the body's natural resistance and adaptation to stressful influences. Ashwaghanda also supports mental endurance, promotes total metabolic efficiency and encourages an overall sense of well-being. Schizandra berries provide powerful antioxidant protection, particularly from free radicals and other toxins in the environment that may cause cellular damage. Regarded as a popular adaptogenic agent, schizandra berries are unique in that they hold a remarkable blend of five distinct flavor properties collectively serving to promote overall health and vitality. Namely, bitter, sweet, sour, salty and hot. Guest guest
Thanks Patty, I am too. Do you know why our cortisol levels are so high? Steph > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi everyone. Guest guest
Hi Cherie, How were your cortisol levels? Mine were very high. My thyroid is low and I'm suffering from adrenal fatigue. My ND is going to re-test me in a couple of months for other hormones like progestrone because I just got off of the birth control pill last month. I hope we'll start feeling great soon!
