Guest guest
, What do you mean you were harassed last night? Then about your TV-- not sure what you are asking...could you clarify please and we will try to get to the bottom of things! Vicki > > This may sound silly but I wonder if it's happening to anyone else. As you know, I was harassed last night. From this morning when I watched my Sunday morning prograam then turned tv back on for my nighttime shows, all of the commercials have been the same playing over and over and over and none of my favorites )there are a few) and it's starting to feel like a police state around here. I'm really not nuts but this is not normal in all of my years of watching television. > > L > >
Guest guest
Okay, that cracked me up. I am not sure it was related to nausea or to blood pressure, although mine is usually perfect. It may have just been a one time occurrence, and no, I am not pregnant. Or at least I think not. I will let you know if it happens again. And if my specialist has any ideas why it happened. Guest guest
You can apply anytime you wish, even before quitting or otherwise losing your job. Guest guest
, I think just as long as you have enough " credits " , you can apply. I think you need a 6 month grace peroid before you can apply for SSDI. I applied 6 months since I last worked and I didn't have any problems. I got approved on the 1st try. I would highly recommend that you obtain a lawyer from the beginning, I did and I think it helped w/ me getting approved on the 1st try. I had a friend of mine, who is far worse then I am and we applied at the same time. (She has lupus and MS) I got approved and she got denied and then got a lawyer. The wait for a hearing if you get denied is around a year. When you don't have any income, it's hard to make ends meet. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask; I have heard that it's harder to get approved depending on which state you live in. Guest guest
Hi Doreen, This happened in May. My company at the time had just under 50 employees and did not have to adopt FMLA. They've since been acquired by a larger company. I have been thinking of heading into Boston to file a complaint against them for not honoring the Drs. note, but sometimes you have to pick and choose your battles. But they clearly did not want to deal with me while I was getting acquainted to my final MTX dose and enbrel, etc. Sadly, I worked with nurses and lawyers. Not always a good combo. A few nurses knew a lot about RA and would come and see me daily and check my hands, etc...a bit over the top, but welcome. They understood, but had no luck sticking up for me. Guest guest
Hi Cheryl - It certainly sounds like it could be some deformity going on there - especially since this is the finger that is most affected during a flare. Have you talked to your Rheumy about it yet? I had a bump come up on one of my fingers and for the most part it doesn't hurt unless I bump it or something - then its OUCH!! My Rheumy wants me to have it checked out by my Orthopaedic, but unfortunately, until SSD gets approved, I can't afford the tests that I know they will want to run. Let us know what you find out. Is that soon enough or should I get there quicker? I am a bit unsure (as usual. lol). This morning I also experienced something unusual with this same finger.
