I took this while pregnant AND while breastfeeding now with my second child. (he's 7 weeks old now). NT recommends these supplements and organic pasture fed eggs and liver (cooked in an iron skillet) while pregnant and nursing. I took / ate all of these during nursing and prenancy and my hemoglobin tested GREAT. They said it was even better than someone who wasn't pregnant or nursing. Guest guest
Tifanie, We're neighbors. I live east of Winsted and I've been busy finding local resources/farms for about 2 years now. I'd encourage you to go to SFA's farm tours when they start up this spring- The first is a greenhouse tour on April 9 west of Winsted. The owner is an herbalist and they have heirloom tomatoes. As far as raw milk, you're in luck. You're probably 15 minutes from the certified organic, pastured dairy farm where I get my milk. We get it straight from his bulk tank (bring your own bottles) and it's only $3/gallon. Write me off list if you want directions or his phone number. If you're looking for eggs, I still have them. My chicks are pastured in the summer and fed uncertified organic, locally grown/ground feed- no GMO's. Dan & Becky's is a great resource and are wonderful friends of ours. My lotions are at their store. Lynn

Guest guest
Hello all. I'm Marenda, 46 single, no kids and I have rheumatoid arthritis (diagnosed at 35) with related lupus/lungs problems and osteoarthritis. My Rheumatologist also thinks I might have fibromyalgia. My hands are starting to deform and I am worried my feet might be next. The only meds I am taking is methotrexate and prednisone which isn't helping the pain and deformity obviously. I just purchase Dr. Bruce Fife book " The New Arthritis Cure " and I hope it improves my condition. I fit has helped anyone I would like to hear from you. Thank you. Marenda P.S. Was that too much personal info? I'm desperate for relief.

Guest guest
Marenda, I agree with Peggy, go the natural way, and in time you will notice more results. Detox is key! If you don't have a natural Dr. I may suggest you might try Renew-life cleanses. But I will say that you may have to be on them for a long time. If you take the cleanse that starts cleansing the whole body, colon etc. and then the candida cleanse,( as you don't want the die off from candida to stay in your body, you want colon to move it on out) you may have to stay on that cleanse for a few boxes to get the job done, and the liver cleanse you can do 3 months in a row after those two. While on the candida cleanse you may want to add some parasite herbs to that, although the candida cleanse will work on getting rid of those too, but maybe at night add 2 or 3. Also zeolite http://www.liquidzeolitecompany.com/ will help you get rid of heavy metals, and any mercury poison you may have without side effects that may come from other heavy metal cleanses. (Don't eat grains, at least right now, even though in the box directions says eat certain grains.) I think they are meaning those are better grains than most, but what they should of said is limit grains because they, like sugar, will feed yeast. Also you will want probiotics that are high dosage. Don't take them the same time you take candida cleanse, it will kill the good bacteria. Take them another time of the day. The other thing I would say is speak the Word, (Bible scriptures) it is powerful. The word says " as a man think in his heart so is he. " See yourself whole! I have seen many people healed through prayer and confessing healing verses. When Jesus died He took our infirmities (sickness and disease's) upon Himself, Isaiah 53 tells us of His coming and what He will do for us. That not only when we repent, and ask Him to be Lord and savior does it make right standing between us and God, but we can receive healing too. When we get into the new testament, it tells what He did for us. " By His wounds we are healed " . 1 2:24. Healing is not always instant, (it can be) but much of the time it's walking it out by faith, and believing though we do not see it manifesting yet, and taking the proper actions to take care of our body, as the Word says, " faith without works, or action is dead " It also says, " My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge " I have had things in my life that I prayed to be healed of, I had to stand on the Word and wait with faith, and then one day the healing manifested. Like carpel tunnel etc.. from working as hairstylist, one day the pain in my joints, and wrist and fingers left years ago, has not come back. Had that happen with my back too. Now after another whiplash I'm doing it again. I know people do die and not everyone is healed, but there is a lot that can be said there, it can be complicated at times. All I know for sure is we do the best we can, and trust God to meat us the rest of the way. I had tick fever in 1996, they didn't know what I had, I almost died, I went 8 days with high fever, sever pain around my head on down my spine, rash on my body, all my blood work was way off, blood pressure so low it was hard to stand up or walk, they wanted to put me in the hospital, but I didn't go because I don't have insurance. I remember one day laying there (as that was all I could do) and the thought of dying came, and thinking about what will my husband do. And then the Holy Spirit quickened me, and I realized what was happening, so I immediately spoke according to the Word of God, (the Bible) and I said in my weak voice, " I cast down imaginations, and everything , and thought, that exalts itself above the Word ( the truth) and I take my thoughts captive (submit my thoughts) to Jesus, and I declare I overcome by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and the word of my testimony, ( see Rev 12:11) and by His stripes, (wounds) I am healed! And Father God, I trust You! " The doctor talked to a disease specialist who thought I had rocky mountain tick fever and maybe bacterial meningitis, and as soon as I took the antibiotics I begin to get better. I went back and had a blood test for Lyme diseases , it came back positive, and they said I could have even just had a severe case of that. (At that same time my mom worked with someone who had the same symptoms I had and he died in 3 days.) I had found several ticks on me from working outside days before that, but I was so sick I didn't think about it. Didn't see a bull's-eye, but that one could have been on my scalp as I pulled a tick off my head too, one day after work. But my midriff and arms had a rash all over. I truly believe that if I had focused on dying, instead of speaking and believing the Word of God, I would not be here today. I cannot tell you what to do, but I will suggest these things. Try a Google search (healing scriptures) and see what comes up, and print them off and speak them. The Word says that a bitter spirit dries up the bones, but a merry heart doth good like a medicine. (not bad meds like most are today). I say this to tell you that our outlook needs to be positive, and our heart needs to be right. Meaning that if you have not asked Jesus to be Lord, that should be a priority, then if there is any un-forgiveness, bitterness in your heart, that has to go too, So you can get well. Some people have really been hurt by others, and have a hard time forgiving, but I will say that when I was young I held grudges, and knew nothing about forgiveness. I was not raised in church, didn't know anything about Jesus or the Bible. But at age 23 Jesus came to me, spoke to me, and told me to give my life to Him. I did, and He set me free of many things, drug and alcohol abuse, depression etc. And He taught me to forgive. I learned that if I was just willing to be obedient to His Word and try, His grace would help me to do it. It worked. He taught me not to get offended, and that it really doesn't matter as much what happens to us in life, as much as how we respond or react to what happened to us. Now over 24 years later I can say He is so awesome and has taught me so much, and what He did for me he can do for you. You may already know Him and everything I said, and didn't need to hear all this, so I'm sorry if I over done this note. I didn't mean to take up so much of your time. But when it comes to Jesus, and health and other passions, I can get carried away at times, I don't mean to sound like I'm telling you what to do, I come off that way at times, as I did jail ministry for 12 years and spoke things very direct and I'm an elder in my church and preach when the pastor asks me, so I may come off a little strong or preachy at times. Please don't take any of it wrong. I just have compassion for you and wanted to help. I will send a prayer up for you! God bless you, have a great week! Lori E PS I wrote a book, 400 pages, 25 chapters, (God told me to write) and some day when it gets published, I will give you a copy if you would like. It's a spiritual book, but does have one chapter on health. It's called " Walking in the True Light " let me know and when the time comes I can mail you one if you want it. When I was your age I had everything you do. My recommendation to you is to try a natural approach. I too was on predinisone, also antibiotics which is pure poison to both your liver and immune system. You need a healthy liver and immune system to heal. I would recommend you find a good Naturopath or Holistic Dr. I did several cleanses, first was a serious Candida Cleanse, and you must go off all sugars and starchy carbs, (except complex carbs) to get the fungus out of your system. I also had breast implants I had removed. It wasn't until I did those things I began to heal. Medical Dr's almost killed me. This is not a fast process, but it has certainly saved my life, and given me a pain free life. I'm almost 60 now, and am far healthier than I was from 35 to 50. No arthritis, or fibro at all. Natural, organic, whole, foods, exercise, and proper supplementation, with quality supplements, have turned my life around. The exercise I still have to force myself to do..but it makes such a huge difference in my labs I have to do it. All I do is 30 mins a day on a rebounder, or walk, weather permitting. Also, I want to add, I use only Tropical Traditions Organic Coconut oil for cooking. I also take a seaweed supplement,(these have drastically helped my thyroid. I'm on Armour Thyroid, but my dose has dropped drastically. I do use a bit of olive oil for salads. I realise I'm very blessed to be able to do these things. We have health insurance but I rarely use it. It won'd pay for Naturopath or Holistic Dr.'s or most of the cures, unless you can find one that is also and MD. When we retire and have to go on Medicare it will become a problem to pay for this way of life. I'm so dreading that! Hope this is of some help...there is hope, but it wasn't with medical Dr.'s or drugs in my case. It took a holistic dr., about a year, and being completely loyal to proper diet, exercise, and supplementation, to really begin to feel somewhat normal again. It's been all uphill ever since. Now, it's just natural for me to do all things healthy. I even prefer the food now. It's not easy in the beginning, but take it from me...it's completely doable, and sooooo worth the effort. Coconut Oil Date: Tuesday, May 17, 2011, 7:05 AM  Marenda I am all for cheap ways to regain health and two that I have recently found are kefir and kombucha. These came up when I was researching a raw food diet back in Jan. They fall under the category of fermented food, like sour kraut, kimchi, natto. I have had trouble getting started because it takes a warm house and mine is definitely not, and the winter was brutal on my first attempts. So I really juuuust started drinking kombucha yesterday and kefir has been too sporadic to matter yet to me. But fermented food is super beneficial to your body. Look it up on Youtube and you will watch videos for hours about people who will tell you about the health benefits. These two things are pretty cheap and just might fit into your life easily. Guest guest
I've done some research and the quality of those that I looked at just not there. So I will wait until fall when I really need it again, so that if it is junk and quits on me with daily use, I can take it back. I think Kohl's is the store that has a 1 yr return policy, if I remember in my research. Guest guest
Hey all, just wanted to give y'all an update. On Tuesday I had an appt. with my primary doctor who took an x-ray of my chest and saw some fluid on my lungs. So he order me to the emergency where they sort of confirm I have fluid in one part of my lungs which they did successfully drain with medication so no surgery for me, good thing. Anyway they admitted me overnight for observation and I was just release about an hour ago. My breathing and coughing is getting worst and doctors don't know why. So anyway I am back to square one again. Marenda
Guest guest
So, Marenda, you're not using undenatured whey and selenium? Fluid on the lungs is a product of irritation, which is promoted primarily by low glutathione, which allows free radical damage to give you " oxidative stress " . Even the oxidative stress of COPD, asthma, and emphysema is relieved by glutahtione increase. There's a huge body of science around that, and if you follow it you'll get natural relief Doctors don't know much about oxidative stress but it's in their medical references and we can read it too all good, Duncan > > Hey all, just wanted to give y'all an update. Guest guest
Dear Marenda, Whole Foods will have the selenium 200mcg. Look at the ingredients list to see what type of selenium it is. I think selenium as selenomethione is preferred. Whole Foods will probably have whey, as well, but it may not be undenatured and may contain artificial sweeteners and additives (just my personal preference to use a whey product without additives - just whey basically). There is a very good chance they carry Biochem's Ultimate Lo Carb Whey (FYI - this is a sweetened undenatured variety) http://www.biochem-fitness.com/pages/powders_main.html#ultlonatural This would be a good start for you to see if you like whey and will continue with it. Whole Foods is too pricey in my opinion for most things, but are a very good resource nevertheless to try something out and buy later online(for best price). Some online resources for whey one you decide its something you want to stick with: http://proteinfactory.com/shop/product.php?productid=43 & cat=31 & page=1 protein factory shipping is pricey $10 -- so best to buy many pounds at once. http://www.swansonvitamins.com/NCL077/ItemDetail?n=0 http://www.swansonvitamins.com/SWU477/ItemDetail?n=694 I think its best to take the whey on an empty stomach mixed with only water -- Sweetener(like stevia) only if you truly need it. These are my personal preferences, others may not agree. Swanson will sell the selenium as well. Their shipping is 4.99 - sometimes free shipping coupon codes can be found online. Amazon sells selenium and vitamins, too. free shipping over $25, easy to reach $25 at amazon. best, e > > > > So, Marenda, you're not using undenatured whey and selenium?
